The Protect Kids from Junk Food Marketing advocacy group strives to create a healthy future for children by protecting them from exposure to unhealthy foods and advocating for evidence-based policy development by the government. They required a collection of advocacy collateral to support the Junk-Free Kids food marketing campaign to build awareness and encourage legislation to be passed to prevent children from being exposed to harmful food and beverage marketing.
I was asked to create a unified design aesthetic that could be rolled out to different advocacy pieces to optimise the group's key messages and strengthen the impact of the campaign. The campaign required alignment of all elements with a previously established brand aesthetic and included the design of an advocacy toolkit, consensus statement, evidence snapshot report, policy overview, and a frequently asked questions template.
